Edo o Kiru, a popular jidaigeki TV series that ran 214 episodes from 1973 - 2004.
Toyama Kinshiro, better known as Toyama no Kin-san is a samurai magistrate that lives among the common people. The ever popular SAIGO Teruhiko, who co-starred as Iba Hachiro in MISUMI Kenji's LAST SAMURAI along with the beautiful MATSUZAKA Keiko (who also starred in the same film as Reiko, wife of Sugi Toranosuke) are the stars in this long running epic TV series.
Not content with his job of just being a local magistrate, he and his group work outside the law to fight crimes that the local police can't handle and mete out their own form
of justice. Great fight scenes by Toyama and his wife, the "purple hood". A series not to be missed.
This volume contains two stand-alone episodes.
