This delightful movie is a virtual extravaganza of song, dance, and swordplay. Featuring the most popular of all Japanese film stars, Misora Hibari, reprising her role as Oyuki, the daughter of Tatsugoro of the Shibahamamatsu-cho Megumi Firefighting squad.
Although a woman, she flaunts her chivalrous spirit causing anger among the more conservative of her contemporaries, leading to intense confrontations and the crossing of swords in anger. A terrific example of Toei Film entertainment for young and old.
