What appears to be a demon-faced monster surfaces seemingly seeking revenge on an official of the Fujiwara clan. In the forms of a gigantic ox and a huge spider, the happenings center around the wife of a vassal the official appropriated.
A young warrior belonging to a fierce Genji warrior clan protects the Fujiwara Clan and the beautiful lady! The official gives the lady to the Genji General to rid himself of the occurrences but the seemingly supernatural assault intensifies.
The General is commissioned to find and arrest the suspected group of bandits responsible for the attacks. The plot thickens as the Genji close in and find what appears to be is not what they think.
Tragic love, unrequited feelings and seething revenge lie at the core so how do the Genji warriors fight and manage this plight thrust upon them?
