NEMURI KYOSHIRO ENGETSU SAPPO - Based originally on a Kabuki-play, this is the tragic story of a young Samurai, Nemuri Kyoshiro, who was born as the result of a rape during a black mass. Rejected by his family he is raised in a temple. The priest becomes his friend and confidant. To restrain and discipline his "evil soul" he focuses on perfecting the art of the "Engetsu Sappo" or “Full-Moon” style of swordfighting, which comes in handy in his quest for justice and revenge.
Nemuri Kyoshiro is back in Edo, and as usual, trouble seems to follow him wherever goes. Although unwilling to do the bidding of the Shogun's chief advisor, Kyoshiro is drawn into the middle of an evil plot by the Satsuma Clan and 13 other Daimyo to overthrow the government. Will his "Full Moon Sword Style" be enough to stop the vicious plot and protect his friends from harm?
Volume 2 brings Kyoshiro to Yokohama where he runs afoul of a Dutch smuggler and a plot to have him killed!
