One of longest running Japanese TV series, The show's hero is a cheerful and generous Shogun Yoshimune Tokugawa, who disguises himself as Shinosuke Tokuda, the third son of poor Hatamoto ( a bannerman retainer of the Shogun ). In his disguise, he mingles unnoticed with the public in the city of Edo.
Yoshimune frequents the Megumi fire station where the fire chief and his key offiers are some of the few people who know the true indentity of Shinosuke. He also employs a number of both male and female ninjas that guard and assist him in defeating and punishing those who do evil deeds.
Season 4 has selected 8 episodes on 4 discs, Season 11 has 15 episodes on 3 discs, Season 12 has 10 episodes and the two parts Final Movie on 2 discs. Packed in a spindle Cake Box without artwork.
