Evil killer Tsuke Ryunosuke meets a woman who looks like his slain wife Hama, and together they try to avoid the vengeance seeking younger brother, Utsuki Hyoma of the Shinsengumi. Many historical figures are in these films and it has been documented that Ryunosuke's character was based on a real life person. This is the second of the trilogy.

From Japans greatest novel, this is the ultimate ending to one of the true classics of literature. This is the third of the trilogy.
