TETSURO TAMBA shines as SHIBA the wandering Ronin who encounters a band of peasants who have kdnapped the daughter of the local Magistrate in the hope of coercing him to reduce the taxes.
Shiba takes up their fight, joined by two renegades from the Magistrates Guard, SAKURA and KIKYO. This is the directorial debut of GOSHA HIDEO, considered to be the Master of Samurai Action Films in Japan.
