This drama was based on a novel written by Hatakenaka Megumi . During the Endo period a very wealth young man named Ichitaro was born with the ability to see ghosts and other beings not seem by normal human eyes.
Due to his poor health, he stays in bed most of the time and has developed a special friendship with the ghosts he sees. The ghosts watches after him as he is one of their own. As he gets older, he often tries to sneak out to see the busy street of Endo. He always gets himself into some type of trouble and His royal ghosts friends are always there to rescue him.
